Today is the day, folks! Carrie’s album came out at about 9am and i have listened to it all the way through once. my initial reaction is its just ok – a bit bland if you ask me. It is part Dixie Chicks, part Michelle Branch with a splash of DeGarmo mixed in. I enjoy the next single (the title track) “Some Hearts.” Some songs are just bad (i.e. i aint in checotah anymore) It was an ok first attempt, but there is just no oomph to it, i guess. all the songs start to sound the same. i am a bit disappointed, but not at all shocked. After i listen to it a few more times, i will write a track-by-track report.
