So my new obsession? Australian Idol. OMG I love it. I spent 8 hours yesterday catching up on all of the youtube performances. Some comments (for those of you who may be following the show):
I really enjoyed Lisa Mitchell. She souds like a little girl version of Jewel. From what i read, she is very contovercial – you either love her or hate her. I would have liked to see more from her.
Dean is SO CUTE! And if I was about 10 years younger, I would TOTALLY hang his picture in my locker and gush over him during passing periods.

Jessica Mauboy. All I’m saying is that they have finally found some competition for Kelly Clarkson. Jessica is the best raw talent I have seen out of any idol since Kelly. WOW. Plus she is only 17!

More Jessica singing beyonce. The theme was “rock as swing” where they had to take a maistream rock song with a swing beat. Why don’t we do themes like this in the US? And do it this well?

ok, ok. Now onto Things that make you go “EW” – Kellie Pickler’s album! It dropped TODAY and i am listening to it right now online, and so far its just bleh. I’ll post a full-on review eventually.
One last thing – the comment spam on this blog is completely out of control. In 1 weekend, I got over 1000 spam messages left on this blog. Its crazy.
