CompShop: Stand By Me

Bo did it. Archie did it (with a little Sean Kingston infusion). And now Mr. Gokey took a stab at it. Who do you enjoy best?

I think I have to go with Archuleta this time around, despite his illegal use of “Beautiful Girls.” But don’t let me sway your opinion!

Sorry, Archie was good but Bo was superb. One of the most underappreciated Idol efforts ever. Archie goes down a peg for putting that Sean Kingston fluff into a great song, but he can be excused for being too young to understand why that was the wrong thing to do. Danny is a distant third; good singer but out of his league compared to these two greats.

This is easy, Bo Bice definately delivered the best performance, Archie, wasn’t bad, Danny, his version was awful, couldn’t even listen to the entire performance.

Have to say that Bo’s version will always be the best. Most of his performances that have been done by other Idol hopefuls do not even compare. He may not have won, but there will be another Bo!

No swaying here … Bo Bice blows the rest away … everytime I hear a contestant is going to sing a song that Bo did during his season it just doesn’t compare (remember “I Don’t Wanna Be”?)

They also need to bring him back to teach all the others how to handle a micrphone stand as well!
