I am currently in class but i saw the tweets! pia! pia! I don’t think I have ever been so blindsided by results on this show. full recap to come later. I need to recover first.

    Pia should sue the American Idol judges for everything she would’ve been entitled to if she won the contest (because she was one of the strongest contenders for the #1 spot). The judges kept pushing her to do something “Up-Tempo” – they kept trying to “Improve her” and look what happened! Her fans didn’t like this side of her and now she’s gone! The judges are entirely responsible for this and I really wish Pia could sue their asses for such crappy, misguided, nonsense advice!

    From what I witnessed tonight, the removal of Pia from the Idol stage confirms what I have thought for a while. The votes no longer are based on vocal ability or star potential, they are driven by immature and jaded teeny boppers who are jealous of beauty and class and true star quality. I will not be watching the remainder of the idol show this season. It is a complete farce from this point onward. I am sure millions of Americans who know true talent and beauty agree with me. The best and the brightest are made to suffer humiliation. Everyone knows Pia will be wildly successful in spite of the face idol has become. I won’t be watching anymore this year and maybe never again. Brian and the judges know this is a terrible injustice and the ratings will rightfully plummet. We love you, Pia. You are too good to be subjected to this kind of treatment.

    I think all the top nine were good. I think it has to do with preference. I was not a Pia fan. If the judges did anything wrong ,it was that they did not critique her performances so that she would improve. She seemed too pageanty, barbie like.They would push other performers to touch the audience, but never did with Pia. I didn’t understand that. She mainly recieved standing O’s for her high notes and not the sincerety of the performance itself.

    I agree with all of the above.. I really want a girl to win this year (chances are slim) so i was kind of rooting for Pia.. guess its gonna be Scotty, Paul or James :/
    But i do agree that I’ll Stand By You wasn’t all that great until that pretty little note at the end
