Relaunch!

Hey! So, Announcement #1, you may have noticed a few changes around here.  I have been working hard behind the scenes to completely rebuild idolreview.net to make it newer, fresher, and have more content (and make it easier to bring you that content!)  As you might imagine, the internets have completely changed since this site launched in 2005, and my template and blog plugins were totally archaic.  It was like that weird stale bread that got stuck in the back of the fridge.  But now!  Now that everything is rebuilt, I brought this bad boy into 2012.  Like now you can leave a comment using your Facebook or Twitter profile if you want!  Or you Shady McShadersons out there can still choose to stay anonymous.  Yay for choices!

I think I got all of the kinks finally worked out in all browsers, but if you see anything weird going on, please let me know!

Announcement #2 – You may notice that there are a few new buttons along the header.

After blogging X Factor last season all the posting of the different shows was getting confusing.  However, I have now gone through most (and will be finishing soon) SEVEN YEARS worth of posts, categorizing everything into proper, sortable categories.  You can now sort this blog by show via the top navigation bar.  You can even sort by season (via the sidebar).

Then you can reminisce about Season 7 of Idol without having to re-live Season 9.  Because that would be a travesty.

Announcement #3 – Since I have made the sorting of shows so easy, I will now be blogging about The Voice, too.  I know!  That is way too much reviewing.  But lets face it–you know you are watching, too.  With Idol and The Voice in the spring, it will make for a busy season of TV, but I should hopefully be up and running on a regular posting schedule as of next week.

I am planning on adding a few more feature sections and about 50 other small tweaks here and there, but it is a huge relief to have this up and running.
